Blue/Turquoise Glitter Makeup look with Morgana Cryptoria

Originally I had a very different idea in my head of what makeup look I was going to do, but this is what ended up instead. My husband said I looked like a mermaid girl. :-)  Then he said it looked like I should have made the lower lash line glitter a different colour. I rarely ask "how do I look?"  because he's a guy and knows he's supposed to say, "you look great!". He usually just says things on his own. I appreciate it when he gives me his honest opinion rather than not looking at me at all and saying, "yeah yeah, you look fine, let's go..."  He is an art major so he does see makeup as art and will sometimes stop me so he can look over my eye makeup. Which is so cute. :-)

He also apparently knows more about makeup than average girls. We watched a movie recently and I said, "wow, that girl's makeup is awful!". Jason's like, "yeah, she needs an eyeshadow primer!". I just looked at him blinking and then started laughing my butt off!  She had black smokey eyeshadow that was seriously creased and migrating around her eyes. Was bad. He's also said funny stuff like, "hmmm...that glitter you have on does not look like cosmetic grade...it's big and chunky. Is that eye safe?".  Ha!  I guess being married to a makeup obsessed crazy lady is bound to make you learn a few makeup things. I'm tempted to have him do my makeup to see how well he would do. Should I film that?!

Hair from 6 years ago...

People tell me all the time that I'd look good with a bob hair style. Yeah, I know as I've had various types over the years. I cut it short, grow it out long, then cut it off again and repeat the cycle. Right now I have heavily layered long hair. It's shoulder/chin length in the front and to the middle of my back...in the back. I'm still growing it out too.

So here's my extreme bob that I had for a couple years. Again, this is 6 years old and I refused to pluck my eyebrows. ;-)

I found this one looking for my hair photos, also 6 years old:
I wore the heck outta this lipgloss and I didn't even remember what it is! Yes, I made the headpiece.

So there you go. I have had really short hair multiple times. :-)

Smokey Blue Glitter Cat Eyes makeup look with Stars Makeup Haven

This look is from Saturday night. Went to visit a friend for the night and went dancing.

 Um...yeah...

 Me, Jason and Tyler

The door guy was giving away Hershey kisses. I gave mine to Tyler and he put it on his crotch! Ha! April looks nice!

 My blurry man

Tyler talking to someone by the DJ booth

Towards the end of the night when almost everyone already left. Weird...that doesn't even look like April!

 Tyler!

 Getting late...getting tired

 Need sleep!

The makeup pictures I took below are after we made it home...almost 4 am. :-D I'm surprised I was alert enough to remember to take pictures...and I'm surprised I don't look dead! My skin does look a little gross. But that's expected after sweating like crazy from dancing.
